Even though this year’s racing season is in full swing, there is still time for much needed testing. The Brno team Mičánek Motorsport and his riders Josef Záruba and Bronislav Formanek headed to the Masaryk Autodrome on their return from Red Bull Ring, where they spent another test kilometer on Wednesday morning.
This test, however, was dazzled by the presence of a precious guest who was the factory driver of Lamborghini Squadra Corse Christian Engelhart.
“I have known Christian since my time in Formula BMW and Porsche Carrera Cup. I am convinced that we have great riders and equally well prepared cars. But when the offer for a joint test with the Lamborghini factory pilot came, we decided to confirm this conviction. It was a very useful and inspirational time and I think we all enjoyed it. Christian had to go to Nordschlaife after a couple of hours, where the famous 24-hour race goes on this weekend, but his final score was very positive, “said Jiří Mičánek jr.
The test program of the Brno team will continue next week on the famous track in the Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, where the riders will be on the last day of May.
