The riders of the Brno team Mičánek Motorsport also took control of the third race of this year’s ESET V4 Cup, which took place last weekend together with the Central European Championship at the autodrome in Most.
Riders Josef Záruba, Jiří Stránský, Tomáš Mičánek and Bronislav Formanek with the Lamborghini Gallardo cars were able to take control of the GTC and from the Bridge took three first and three second places.
The most successful was Josef Záruba, who added to Bronislav Formánk two victorious triumphs and won the endurance. Three silver took the bridge Jiří Strysky, with Tomáš Mičánek in the endurance race.
“The bridge has traditionally been struggling with weaker participation. Basically, nobody knows what exactly is the cause and so it is necessary to take it. We have seen it as a training weekend and the racing rating is so easy. The guys reached their standard, winning what they could. Honestly, I would be very sorry if this was different. We now have a two-month break, which we will use mainly for rest and preparation for the second half of the season. Josef Záruba: “It was the weekend that falls into the category of the easier ones. But it was more relaxed. We drove ourselves and calmly. That’s why I managed to overtake the GT3 wagon riders in the first race and get the third place with the cup. ”
Jiří Stránský: “To compete in Most and in front of the home audience is always a challenge and a tribute at one time. I would like to thank the whole team for the preparation of cars and also to all our partners and friends who have come to support us here. There were really a lot and it was really great. I enjoyed the weekend very much and the three places are a nice reward for the effort. ”
Bronislav Formanek: “I’m glad I could come back to Most in time. On Saturday, we had a nice team battle with the boys and we were happier at the end of the game. Otherwise, it was a weekend as part of the partes, cars were tremendous, and we had a lot of guests to create a unique atmosphere in the paddock. ”
Tomáš Mičánek: “After two weekends, where we picked up a lot of points, this third came. The season looks very good. Maybe it looks too easy, but do not be fooled. There is a lot of work to do in the preparation of cars, as well as in the preparation of riders. With our brother, we are pleased that boys are constantly speeding up and that they are in the form. The lap times and Jožko’s results compared to the GT3 specification are clear proof. ”
The next, in the order of the fourth enterprise of the 2017 season, the rider will be introduced to Slovakia Ring near Bratislava, where it will be held on the weekend of 18-20. August.
